Cathy Shannon comes from a strong international and Australian corporate financial background. She has 11 years experience working in one of Australia’s top financial institutions and before that worked overseas for 7 years – 6 years in London working in some leading, global financial services groups and 1 year in Japan teaching English.

Cathy has held senior customer and project management positions in these organisations, focusing her skills in diverse, business enhancing areas such as analysis, coordination, implementation and performance evaluation. She has also been involved in designing, initiating and delivering training and mentoring programmes.

Her talents also include facilitating organisational change, designing and implementing productivity and workflow initiatives, staff management and continuous improvement initiatives and budget management for small to multi-million dollar levels.

Cathy has enjoyed a long association with business at all levels. Her reputation is based on creating successful strategies, systems and procedures to achieve high performance levels. These skills earned her a placement in an exclusive training programme where Cathy earned her Six Sigma Black Belt.  Six Sigma is today’s leading technique to maximise production and transactional efficiency and maintain control over each step in the managerial process.
